My name is Alexander Muse and I am the author of the Startup Muse. More than a decade ago I figured out that I was better at starting businesses than finishing them. Since then I have raised and lost millions of dollars from investors. The Startup Muse is my attempt to share my experiences, both good and bad, with entrepreneurs.
Over the past five years I have been asked to speak on four continents on topics ranging from entrepreneurship to mobile application development. For example, last year I was invited to speak in the French Senate in Paris about mobile technology and the year before I spoke to more than one hundred aspiring Indian entrepreneurs in Bangalore, India.
Over the past decade I have help start several businesses ranging from a reality television series to a consumer finance company. It is worth noting that I am not actively seeking new investments. My current businesses include Architel, ServiceGuy, Big in Japan, ShopSavvy, Whitebox, MotorSport Ranch, SpringStage and SevenLayer.
